Life
Hi everyone,
Believe it or not, I am still in Port Richey. I have been happily married for 22 years and have two grown boys, ages 19 and 20 (no, I didn't name any of them Bruce, even though I am still a Springsteen fan). My oldest son is in college (St. Leo) for accounting and my youngest works in the air conditioning field. God has blessed me with two great boys. My oldest is now married and has a son....I am a grandmother...yikes! Who am I kidding, I love every minute of it.
I graduated with a BA in communication disorders and was a speech language pathologist for two years at a local elementary school. Now, I've just finished working on my Masters in special education. Presently, I work in a resource room to help all students. Previously, I taught children with emotional problems at a middle school. I like being in the classroom tea...Expand for more
ching and or helping students with all the subjects, rather than in the clinic working on articulation and language impairments. Now I know teachers do not make of a lot of money, but I am off at 2:30, have the summer off, two weeks at Christmas and a week off during the spring, so I am pretty happy with what I do. Besides, I love working with students who have emotional problems. I went from being called an F'en B ...to being the best F'en teacher they ever had... and now there is no cursing at all and complete respect in the classroom(well, almost). I also have students thinking about going to college and working in the field of special education. So I am really happy making a difference in the lives of my students.
